medievalbookshop’s listings have been (theoretically) removed from public view, but in practice search engines such as Google, DuckDuckGo et all still index them so that you may find yourself in an outdated part of the website.

Books listed there are mostly still available, but please be aware that the listings are currently being revised and updated, so that some books might have been sold, lost, or packed for disposal. If you see something of interest, please feel welcome to use the contact links at the top of this page to get in touch — I’ll fulfil orders whenever possible.

There are currently no firm plans for the future — but watch this space.

Strikes & service disruptions

medievalbookshop uses Royal Mail services for despatch, and in normal circumstances you should receive your order within a week. Unusual circumstances such as lockdowns and strikes can cause delays — you can always check on expected service levels at the Royal Mail website — they do their best to give accurate advice, but please be aware that circumstances change rapidly during periods of strike action.

Spring 2024: things seem to be returning to normal after last autumn’s delayed mail. My personal experience during December and early January has been that most packages I’ve ordered have arrived within about a week of despatch.

With regard to COVID-19, packages travelling by post are generally deemed to be low-risk. You can find advice and updates at the World Health Organization’s website — please don’t use social media services to spread gossip and rumour!
