Overall condition fair: the boards on this copy are rubbed and frayed on their edges and corners; the spine is a bit ragged at both ends, but otherwise looks in generally good order; some foxing on the page edges and pages at either end of the book, and some text pages more yellowed with age than others; looks in reasonable order internally, the binding starting to split here and there, but no pages detached; text intro. half-title [page 1] inserted upside down; a blank presentation plate inside the front board, and previous owner’s name on the front endpaper, and at least 4 pages have some pencilled annotations.
