Overall condition poor to fair: this copy looks rather battered; covers rather ragged at the edges and corners; spine frayed with the backstrip starting to peel; internally the binding is starting to split here and there, though no pages are detached; cover and text paper yellowed with age; several pages have their corners turned over as place markers, and one has the bottom corner ripped off, just clipping the edge of the text; at least 19 pages show some pencilled marking, including underlining (in the introduction, the main text appears to be clear).
